Three people who were found gambling at the Laqere market are among the 63 arrests made in the last 24 hours concerning breaches of health restrictions and curfew orders.
Fiji’s Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu said the three were aged 18, 19, and 21 years old, respectively.
He said 57 cases were recorded in the Southern Division where six people were arrested for drinking grog at Wailea settlement in Vatuwaqa, seven were found drinking alcohol at Vesida and breached the health restrictions
A 41-year-old fisherman was found loitering along the Sukanaivalu road in Nabua.

Sixty-three arrests were made for the last 24 hours concerning breaches of Health restrictions and Curfew Orders.
Fifty-seven cases were recorded in the Southern Division whereby six people were arrested for drinking grog at the Wailea Settlement in Vatuwaqa, seven were found drinking alcohol at Veisida and have breached the Health restrictions while a 41-year-old fisherman was found loitering along the Sukanaivalu road in Nabua.
