The Nigerian government appropriated N49million to improve the power supply in nine communities in Ogo Oluwa/Surulere federal constituency in Oyo State in 2021, but six of them are still in total darkness, according to Map News. The project, which is implemented by the Rural Electrification Agency, REA, under the Ministry of Power was facilitated by Olusegun Odebunmi, member representing the constituency in the House of Representatives.
