KOHIMA A welcome programme for the newly appointed chairman of Nagaland Handloom and Handicraft Corporation Limited (NHHDC), Prasielie Pienyü, was held on Wednesday at its NHHDC head office in Nagarjan (Kuda), Dimapur. Speaking at the programme, Pienyü thanked the chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, for reposing faith and entrusting him with the responsibility to be chairman of NHHDC Ltd. He also stressed on the importance of handloom and handicrafts particularly for the Naga society. He urged the officers and staff to extend their full cooperation during his tenure so that together, the corporation would able to help the Naga artisans and craftsmen and take the corporation to greater heights. The programme was chaired by the managing director, Vitsutho Nyuthe, who also delivered the welcome address.
NHHDC to organise handicraft exhibition Dimapur, Sep. 23 (EMN): Nagaland Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation (NHHDC) will be organising a handicraft exhibition at Urban Haat in Dimapur from October 7 to 13th.
