India on Thursday reported a net increase of 6,426 in active coronavirus cases to take its count to 3,710,525. India’s share of global active coronavirus cases now stands at 20.74 per cent (one in 5). The country is second among the most affected countries by active cases. On Thursday, it added 362,727 cases to take its total caseload to 23,703,665. And, with 4,120 new fatalities, its Covid-19 death toll reached 258,317, or 1.09 per cent of total confirmed infections.
With 1,894,991 more Covid-19 vaccine doses being administered on Wednesday, India’s total count of vaccine shots so far reached 177,214,256. The count of recovered coronavirus cases across India, meanwhile, reached 19,734,823 – or 83.26 per cent of total caseload – with 352,181 new cured cases being reported on Thursday.

India’s share of global active coronavirus cases now stands at 20.69 per cent (one in 5). The country is second among the most affected countries by active cases. On Wednesday, it added 348,421 cases to take its total caseload to 23,340,938. And, with 4,205 new fatalities, its Covid-19 death toll reached 254,197, or 1.09 per cent of total confirmed infections.
With 2,446,674 more Covid-19 vaccine doses being administered on Tuesday, India’s total count of vaccine shots so far reached 175,235,991. The count of recovered coronavirus cases across India, meanwhile, reached 19,382,642 – or 83.04 per cent of total caseload – with 355,338 new cured cases being reported on Wednesday.

India on Monday reported a net increase of 8,589 in active coronavirus cases to take its count to 3,745,237. India’s share of global active coronavirus cases now stands at 20.54 per cent (one in 5). The country is second among the most affected countries by active cases. On Monday, it added 366,161 cases to take its total caseload to 22,662,575. And, with 3,754 new fatalities, its Covid-19 death toll reached 246,116, or 1.09 per cent of total confirmed infections.
With 689,652 more Covid-19 vaccine doses being administered on Sunday, India’s total count of vaccine shots so far reached 170,176,603. The count of recovered coronavirus cases across India, meanwhile, reached 18,671,222 – or 82.39 per cent of total caseload – with 353,818 new cured cases being reported on Monday.

India’s share of global active coronavirus cases now stands at 20.24 per cent (one in 5). The country is second among the most affected countries by active cases. On Saturday, it added 401,078 cases, the most added by any country in a day, to take its total caseload to 21,892,676. And, with 4,187 new fatalities, its Covid-19 death toll reached 238,270, or 1.09 per cent of total confirmed infections.
