DIMAPUR The Nagaland University Students’ Union-Kohima Campus (NUSU-KC) hosted its 18th Zona Fest, a literary-cum-cultural celebration, on April 18 and the 19th on the theme ‘Encompassing diversity and inclusivity’ at RCEMPA, Jotsoma. Legislator representing 9-Kohima assembly seat, Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhutso, the chief guest of the ‘Literary Day’ on April 18, in his address urged the students to aim for bigger things. Rhutso also underscored the importance of education in the modern competitive world, an update stated. Competitions for ‘Literary Day’ included slam poetry, extempore speech, advertisement, quiz competition and debate. In debate on the topic ‘Social media is reducing social interactions in reality,’ Thejase-e Nagi and Putsu P from the opposing team and Chemang from the motion team were named as the best debaters.
