Dimapur, June 1 (EMN): Tour operators of Nagaland, in a meeting held recently at Hotel Japfü in Kohima, decided to form an association with the nomenclature of Nagaland Association of Tour Operators (NATO). An update from the organisation stated that the members had deliberated on the tourism scenario in the state and Northeast India and the much needed association in the state. Besides the challenges faced by the travel and hospitality industry post Covid pandemic, members of the newly formed association pledged to work and promote Nagaland into a sustainable and eco-tourism destination. Meanwhile, the members elected its office bearers for a term of four years led by Kejaroko Pieru as president, Vimeto Vakha as vice president, Veluzo Tetseo as general secretary, Limasunep Alinger as assistant general secretary, Khriesinuo Ngacu as treasurer, and Veshehu Kezo as information and publicity secretary.
