The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF), on the advice of its seniors, on Tuesday decided to suspend its ongoing agitation to protest against the State government’s failure to arrest the culprits involved in vandalizing its office on May 27. However, NSF said that the federation would continue to press for justice to be delivered at the earliest.
Mounting pressure on the state government, NSF on Monday launched staged a sit-it protest outside the vandalised office in protest against the state government’s alleged failure to nab the culprits within the 24-hour ultimatum set by the federation. NSF members, students and well wishers took part in the protest.
The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) will hold a sit-in protest in front of its demolished office premises here from 9 a.m. on Monday after expiry of 24-hour ultimatum served by the student body on the State government to nab the culprits responsible for vandalising its office building on wee hours of Saturday.
