The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (HACC) found the suspicion of misappropriating more than UAH 229 million by abusing official position against ex-head of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy Andriy Kobolev unfounded, his lawyer Oleksiy Nosov has said.
Former head of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy Andriy Kobolev and former head of the energy department of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine Suriya Jayanti founded Eney company, which plans to invest in projects in the field of decarbonized energy.
The High Anti-Corruption Court has refused the prosecutor to choose a measure of restraint in the form of detention with an alternative of a UAH 365 million bail for former head of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy Andriy Kobolev.
