The father of a differently-abled girl, who was killed in the Sandal Bar area, had turned out to be her killer.
The three year old girl, who was deaf and mute, was thrown into a canal where she breathed her last. After finding the body of the minor girl in Gojra, the police arrested her father and started the investigation process. Police registered a case under Section 363 PPC.
The girl named Kashaf was buried in her ancestral graveyard in the presence of hundreds of mourners.
Two bodies found in Dijkot
Residents spotted bodies and informed police
DIJKOT:
The bodies of two persons including a youth have been found in separate areas of the city on Tuesday. The bodies were taken into custody by the police and shifted to a hospital.
Police said the body of an elderly man was found in a house near Sir Syed Town, Tutiyanwalakhwa, Hajveri Mosque, Factory Area.
The local residents informed the police about the stench of the deceased’s body lying in the house. Factory Area police shifted the body of the deceased to the hospital after taking necessary action and started searching for his heirs.
