Edna L. Versteegh Sun City, Arizona | Age 88 Edna Louise Versteegh, 88, previously of Fremont, IA, passed away December 24th, 2020 at home in Sun City, Arizona, surrounded by her family under the care of Hospice. Edna was born January 31, 1932, in Searsboro, Iowa, to Rufford and Susie Taylor Pothoven. Edna was a graduate of New Sharon High School. On December 10, 1950 she was united in marriage to Paul James Versteegh at the Presbyterian Church in New Sharon, Iowa. She and Paul celebrated 70 years of marriage together in December of 2020. She was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed her jobs at the Fremont Funeral Chapel, Lunsford Grocery, and working the local elections in Fremont, Iowa. She also enjoyed time spent with friends at the Fremont Community Center in the mornings.
