The owner who founded Gourmet Donuts and Cafe in Mt. Juliet and sold it last year will open another doughnut shop on Nonaville Road.
Nader Khoury will launch the new Mt. Juliet Donut Shop within part of a 12,700-square-foot shopping center that is anchored by Dollar General.
The barber shop named Iconic Culture has also opened in the shopping center.
Mt. Juliet Donut Shop will combine the final two spaces available in the building, totaling about 2,500 square feet, according to Chris Robinson of Robinson Properties.
Health concerns and the impact of COVID-19 both played into Khoury selling Gourmet Donuts in September 2020 after owning the business for around 15 years, he said.
