Where to get the Covid-19 vaccine in Dubai
While we await more details on when the AstraZeneca will be available in Dubai, SEHA is administering the Sinopharm vaccine for free at SEHA’s National Screening Centre in Mina Rashid and Khawaneej, Hor Al Anz Health Center, Al Qusais Health Center, the Al Ittihad Health Center, as well as Dubai Parks and Resorts. Book an appointment at one of the SEHA clinics by calling 800 50. Priority is now being given to over 60s.
Emirati citizens and residents aged 60 and over can also receive the Sinopharm vaccine for free at three DHA Health Centres: Nad Al Hamr Health Centre, Al Twar Health Centre and Al Mankhool Health Centre.

The free ride can be hailed from 10 vaccination centres.
The Dubai Taxi (Hala) is offering residents across the Emirate a free ride home from select vaccination centres. This is part of its drive to support the city and those who wish to participate in the vaccination programme.

“At Hala, we want to make sure we are doing all we can to show our commitment to supporting our city at crucial times by giving back to our riders and community. We hope that for those who wish to take the vaccine, this initiative makes doing so that little bit easier, with our safe and simple service provided for free on the way home,” Clemence Dutertre, CEO of Hala, said.

Dubai: My parents and I decided to get vaccinated just ahead of the weekend on Thursday January 21. We wanted to be among the first batch of people to get protected from the spread of COVID-19. And since the UAE is encouraging members of the public to get vaccinated, we followed suit.
Booking the appointment
On a Tuesday evening, we decided as a family that we would be taking the Sinopharm vaccine. So we launched the SEHA app on our phones in order to book the appointment.
After a few minutes to decide our centre location, we picked the SEHA Dubai Parks and Resorts Vaccination Centre. We thought it would be far away enough for wait times to be shorter. We booked the appointment on Thursday from 3pm to 4pm. On the app, you can select a time slot of an hour ranging from 9am onwards.
The move comes as part of Dubai Health Authority’s free vaccination drive against Covid-19.
DHA has earmarked six centres Al Safa Primary Health Care Centre, Zabeel Primary Health Care Centre, Al Mizhar Primary Health Care Centre, Nad Al Hamr Primary Health Care Centre, Al Barsha Primary Health Care Centre, Uptown Mirdiff Primary Health Care Centre and Hatta Hospital for its vaccination campaign.
