The Nacogdoches Convention and Visitors Bureau is celebrating 25 years of being housed in the Charles Bright Visitor Center. They are using this anniversary of their time in historic downtown Nacogdoches, by recognizing local businesses. They are looking for individuals and business who have a commitment to service in their community.
This will be awarded every month so you can nominate all your favorites. The Nac CVB is also asking for more than just a few words. You can use pictures, videos too, just email them to sales@visitnacogdoches.org.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Spring break in Texas begins on Monday, but today is a popular travel day. The travel industry describes a âquietâ spring break. Even so, travel experts report more people are gaining confidence in taking leisure trips.
âI went to Jamaica,â travel agent Fabi Venegas said enthusiastically.
The International Tours employee in Nacogdoches is back at work noticing more people are ready to travel.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - The Nacogdoches Convention and Visitors Bureau will be kicking off Nac Snack Fridays on the Downtown Square on Friday, Feb. 26.
The free events will take place every fourth Friday of the month in the downtown square located at 200 E. Main Street in Nacogdoches.
Food trucks will open at 11 a.m. Live music and beer sales will begin at 5 p.m. and end at 7 p.m.

The Nacogdoches Convention and Visitors Bureau, Visit Nacogdoches, continues to bring back an old fashioned drive in movie experience. The outdoor movie theater is at the A.L.Mangham Regional Airport. The Nac at Night movie series continues with the Tom Hanks Meg Ryan classic You ve Got Mail Friday, February 12th, 2021.
The movie starts at 7pm, You can see it drive in movie style, like it was never intended. The movie came out in 1998, so not a lot of drive in movies going on at the time. It s fun to remember when email was novel. Dave Chappelle is in this movie, who remembers that?
