Last month a judge ruled the state had to retry dassey or release him within 90 days. Well because the state is appealing that ruling. For now no retrial, and dassey stays in prison. Gets a new trial is now in the hands of the 7th Circuit Court of appeals in chicago where a panel of judges will hear oral arguments about whether or not dasseys confession was coerced.
