Makati started 2020 with strong pageviews for January and February relative to the rest of the year. At the start of the pandemic, Makati was one of the cities in Metro Manila that experienced a slump when the enhanced community quarantine was enforced. A city known for the Ayala central business district, Makati commands high property prices whether for rent or for sale. The second half of 2020 reflected the gradual reopening of Makati, with October, November, and September showing some of its strongest pageviews for the year. Looking at the first quarter of 2021, Makati sustained its average monthly pageviews in the second half of 2020.
