MYSURU: An auto driver, who was being chased by an arm-wielding gang that had brutally murdered two youths late on Sunday, had a narrow escape when beat police doing night rounds arrived in the nick of time.
The four-member gang would have killed auto driver Madhusudhan if police had not arrived on the spot. Madhusudhan’s friends, Kiran and Deepak Kisan, both 29, were brutally murdered by the gang around 11.15 pm on Sunday. Their throats were slit, said police.
Police have detained Dileep and Madhu while Swamy, the prime accused, and Raghu, are on the run.
