Yes, there s an actual moat, which is a good thing for our COVID world that we re in right now, because we don t have to worry about how close we are to the audience. . But it really does require us to think about the choreography and the blocking, said Wells, Lyric Theatre s associate artistic director. Luckily, this show is great in that we re breaking the fourth wall all the time anyway and speaking to the audience. So, if we need to talk to a duck to get it off the stage, it s totally fine. We can do that.

Last year Jackson founded Southern Plains Productions, a non-profit Oklahoma City theater company with a vision for accessibility in the performing arts. Our mission is to provide meaningful art for Oklahomans by creating accessible productions for people of all socioeconomic backgrounds, he said.
Whether she is painting on canvas or handcrafting one of her new embroidery portraits, Suzanne Thomas prefers to work in layers.
"I love the idea of layering . of blending together, putting things on top of this and that, and you create a picture, layering so there's a structure to it. It's a foundation, so it feels like everybody's building on everything. It helps create the whole picture," Thomas said. "It helps to create a visual interest. It's not just interested in telling the narrative, but to draw people in to really look at it.
