Peter Frampton has received his share of awards from the music industry over his long career. But on Saturday, September 9, he'll be honored in a different setting as he receives the Myositis Association's Heroes in the Fight 2023 Patient Ambassador Award during the organization's Annual Patient Concert in San Diego. Frampton revealed his diagnosis with Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM), a degenerative syndrome that has atrophied his muscles, during 2019. He has continued to make music and is even touring, though he now plays sitting down.
