Seton Hall began the Women’s National Invitational Tournament with a huge victory against Fairleigh Dickinson behind Lauren Park-Lane’s game-high 29 points.
Big East Tournament play continued on Saturday as the Pirates faced Creighton for the last game of the night. In exciting fashion, Seton Hall stole the game and upset the Bluejays with a last-second midrange jumper from Mya Bembry to advance to the semifinals, 66-65.
In a game dominated on the defensive side, Seton Hall came out victorious in the nation’s capital as the Pirates defeated the Georgetown Hoyas 60-50 to earn their fourth straight win.
