blothar. how are you doing, greg? greg: i am great. 30 years. are you surprised? am i surprised? of course i m surprised. i m not looking for the next 5 minutes. blothar. blothar! you pronounce the accent marks correctly. don t do that. it s just for effect. greg: [laughs] for some of the viewers, we used to have gwar on my old show, redeye. the lead singer. you were the bass player. do you miss it? do we ever miss him? he spoke highly of you. which isn t hard because he was always high. greg: that is true. that is true. i will not elaborate. tell us where you re from.
if they were the writers instead of what the show actually was. but i think that s universal. it s not just women reacting that way. but i agree i don t know if it hits the right tone, but i don t think it s going to determine how everyone views women, an entire gender before an election. it s not that. i want to say it a bit crisper is that sometimes i think there can be an overstep in a political when it s you have to elect a woman, you need to elect a woman, and there needs to be this many women drerks. we need to get there, but when you pound your fist that way is that the way to get there? eugene, help me out as a guy who s really fallen down a rabbit hole here. i m not going down because i don t think that was really pounding the table. i thought that was really disappointing, you know, and i actually happen to kind of agree. one of the interesting things about the show i am so buried here.
making the cut. where do we stand there? well, donny, being on your show and if all your viewers went to steve bullock.com we d know we d make the cut for sure. i only got in recently because i had that job to do for health care for montanans, but the first week of the launch i think it went really well. i also think if you look at that stage and i was miss, well you don t have somebody who actually won in a trump state. you don t have somebody who s bridged divides to make government work. you don t have somebody who s taken the actions i have to take the corrupting influence of outside spending, this post-citizens united world and made a difference. so from that perspective, sure hope i m on the stage because i think a lot to offer that a lot of the field doesn t have. i also think you have a commandsi commanding presence. you ever get in a fistfight?
i feel like we are getting so close to having this ending with just women running the world. exactly. and then the last two episodes it s like, oh, they re too emotional, the end. okay, olivia i have a dumb guy theory. i have a feeling that that tone does not play with a lot of men and a lot of women. the feminism that goes to oh, they re ending game of thrones the wrong way, i think you lose the bigger narrative of equal pay and the other things. i know i reacted and i went back to this. once again dumb guy, just not fair or unfair, just somebody who s watched women and men consumers over the year. i don t think that hits the right tone. i think that one comment about game of thrones should not determine what the entire message for women in 2020 is. i agree it s kind of a stupid criticism of the show. and a lot of the criticism of the show for some reason is what people wish they could have done
she s moving up but bernie s moving down which an interesting sort of dynamic. she could become the sort of anti-biden in the race, potentially. you re not going to tag kamala harris with that, and you re certainly not going to tag joe biden with that. and so i i worry i never really worried a lot about that or worry about it a whole lot less. i was going to say don t underestimate what warren s doing attacking big tech. as opposed to bernie who s saying i want to give you anything and everything she jumped up. i mean the policy stuff is working. i don t think in the end it s going to work. interesting later in the show we ve got bullock who s kind of a real younger biden. still ahead, is this the worst cabinet ever? was it appropriate flubbed in front of congress and the scary part he s probably not the worst of the worst.
