differences than just having ad if you fest. we can agree that there is a problem in america with too many of our jobs don t pay enough. the problem is is the democrats think the solution is some new tax and some new government program. i believe it s a allowing free enterprise to work. that s a fundamental disagreement. we have to argue about that we don t have to be rude or nasty or disrespectful. but we are going to have to have a debate about that and ultimately an election. because the democratic party has become a left wing party taken over by radicals in that party that want to expand the role of government and make us like sweden or norway or whatever it is bernie sanders said. i want us to be america and i want us to be greater and more free ernted prize than we have ever had before. enjoy the debate next week and enjoy my home state of wisconsin. enjoy milwaukee. thank you. fireworks on the campaign trail today donald trump now trying to thin out the bloated 2016 field.
and lead on behalf of everybody in your jurisdiction whether they voted for you or not. and now more than ever, america is calling out for leadership from the president to stand up and call out for law enforcement. we need to make sure they protect people in every community across the country. i know a lot of your supporters said that they want to see a more vibrant governor scott walker in the next debate. will we see that? absolutely. if somebody wants to see somebody that is going to go out and wreak havoc on washington i m going to lay that out there in the next debate and every chance i get because we wreaked havoc against the status quo in my home state of wisconsin. if you re something who wants somebody to wreak havoc on the big union bosses and the democratic party. if that what it takes to move the country forward. i m not going to back down. i m not going to be intimidated in the nation s capital, either. all right, governor, i can
the senate is just starting to vote. the first test vote on unemployment insurance in the next 15 minutes. they said they would start and we re seeing they are just about to get under way. joining me now, senator tammy baldwin, democrat from wisconsin, senator, good morning. good morning. do you democrats have the votes? well, we are awfully close. as of my last reporting, maybe one shy, and we hope that will develop shortly, but we ll have good news to proceed to the full debate on extending emergency unemployment compensation, because it s really a crisis in the united states, and in my home state of wisconsin right now, that needs to be addressed. well, let me ask you about your home state. led the nation in new jobless claims in december, but your republican counterpart in the house, as you know, paul ryan, points to data showing that unemployment, long-term unemployment, would actually be hurt, that it would enhance long-term unemployment if you
with my wife, lincoln day dinner with henry hyde and jim sensenbrenner which should tell you a little something about me. but i ve got to tell you, with two great kids in jack and grace, we can t wait to get to work here in the party and rebuild this party, move on to conservative candidates. i want to thank the republican leaders from my home state of wisconsin, including steve king, mary bustrund, scott walker, ron johnson, sean duffy, and paul ryan, thank you very much. i want to thank that s the new chairman. he worked magic in wisconsin helping republicans win major races there, including russ feingold getting defeated, the democratic senator from wisconsin.
republicans nominate. she deserves to be. greta: my home state of wisconsin senator feingold has been reelected many times popular if the state. we are hearing that former governor of the state thompson may challenge him. thompson got into that race he would defeat feingold. rasmussen has thompson three point as head of feingold. that would then be the 10th seat. there s also a lot of rumors about strong candidates getting in, in new york against gillibrand. there s a good candidate in washington a guy named paul acres who may run against patty murray. those folks are in jeopardy. you want my personal view? greta: yeah. i think greta, that the republicans will take control of the house. will take control of the senate. and might take control of the senate with a few seats to spare.
