Buffalo City Metro mayor Xola Pakati wants a clean audit opinion for the city in the coming year and he thinks Mxoli Yawa is the man for the job. Pakati made this clear at a press conference on Monday, when he introduced Yawa as the new city manager on the first day on his new job. Yawa is a former municipal manager at the Senqu Municipality, which made national headlines for receiving back-to-back clean audits, an anomaly in the Eastern Cape and among many ANC-run councils across SA.
