LUSAKA, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) After years of experimenting with different kinds of convectional hair and skin products, Mwansa Kawesha, a young woman in Zambia s capital Lusaka decided to make products that best suited her needs. I struggled to find the kind of hair and skin products that were good for me. A lot of the products on the market contained substances that did not well work for my skin and hair. I then decided that if I could not find what was best for me, I make it, she said.
Kawesha s desire to find the right body and hair ointment led to what is today known as Bantu Blends, a Zambian cosmetic company dealing in organic body and hair products that are made from wild and readily available plants among them baobab, castor bean, and moringa.
