According to a section within the Congress, directions are being given not to work for the Shiv Sena-UBT candidate Anil Desai from Mumbai South Central.
The Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition unveiled its seat allocation strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with Congress vying for 17 seats, Shiv Sena (UBT) and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) competing for 21 and 10 seats respectively. Shiv Sena s UBT faction secured the Sangli seat, contested by wrestler Chandrahar Patil. The NCP will contest in the Bhiwandi constituency.
