Hunter Ball is working hard in an effort to avoid hard work.
Ball a Carsonville native and Deckerville High School grad is working his way up the Professional Bull Riders ladder in hopes of making that his full-time profession. Those hopes recently became more realistic when the 22-year-old Ball elevated to the top 50 in world points standings.
“It would be a nice way to avoid hard work,” said Ball, referring to the possibility of being a full-time competitor in bull riding. “You just want to make sure you’re doing well and not wasting your time or money, because it costs a lot to go each week.”
