The International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol) has written a letter to the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Sindh and sought information of suspected terrorist activities.
CTD Sindh chief Omar Shahid Hamid said on Monday that a few months before they had arrested a suspect, Wahid Hussain alias Guddu, who is associated with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London, who had disclosed about its network operating from Belgium and the accomplices present there were generating funds for the organsiation too.
In this regard, DIG Hamid said, he had recently received a letter from Interpol that read, âPlease be informed that a message along with enclosed Press Article of a local daily received from INTERPOL-BRUSSELS regarding the subject mentioned above.

KARACHI: Interpol in a letter to Pokarachi terror actslice and the CTD has sought details of the Belgian citizens involved in terror activities in Karachi, ARY News reported on Monday.
Interpol Brussels chapter, in a letter to Additional I.G. Police Karachi and DIG Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) via the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), has sought the list of the citizens of Belgium involved in terrorism in Karachi, sources said.
According to sources, Belgian authorities had sought details of the terror suspects from the Interpol.
It is to be mentioned here that the CTD Karachi DIG Omar Shahid Hamid had wrote a letter for arrest of the Belgian nationals involved in anti-state activities in Karachi.
