Morgan McCabe- Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Three Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) Mustangs have won the 2021 Water Conservation poster contest hosted by the Manatee County Utilities Department.
Every year Manatee County Utilities Department hosts the Drop Savers Water Conservation Poster Contest, organized by the Florida Section American Water Works Association (FSAWWA).

The goal of the contest is to promote awareness and importance of water conservation in daily routines. Sixteen Manatee County schools participated in the 2021 contest. The first-place winning entries from each division were sent to the statewide Drop Savers contest.

LRHS boys and girls basketball teams ranked in the top ten while boys soccer ranked in the top 20 -
Boys basketball has a 3.388 cumulative class GPA.
Girls basketball has a 3.543 cumulative class GPA.
Boys soccer has a 3.277 cumulative class GPA.
Boys basketball coach Jeremy Schiller said, I am so proud of my team for working to maintain a high GPA during COVID-19.

Attendance secretary Darla Walker Dittmann said, I really enjoyed the training for the customer service certification.I was surprised to hear that we are pioneers for the district and the state.

By raising the standards across the district, the Ranch took the lead in these industry certifications.
