Islamabad: The federal capital police on Thursday conducted a grand targeted combing and search operation in Banigala and Secretariat areas to beef up the security in these areas and to curb the crime.
Following orders of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Qazi Jamil Ur Rehman, an effective operation is being conducted in different areas of the city against those involved in anti-social activities.
Following his directions, the SSP (Operations) told that a grand targeted search and combing operation was conducted in the various areas of Banigala and Secretariat Police Station. This operation was supervised by SP City Rana Abdul Wahab including ASP Haider Ali, DSP Raja Tahir, station house officers (SHOs), officials from different police stations of city Zone.
