According to
Genshin Impact leaker abc, the Weapon type used by Baal will be Polearm. Despite the fact she’s been seen using a sword multiple times in trailers, the Raiden Shogun is not a Sword character. This is definitely what I expected, as the sword answer seemed too obvious to be true.
