There are 1,234,180 confirmed cases in Canada.
Canada: 1,234,180 confirmed cases (83,744 active, 1,126,136 resolved, 24,300 deaths). The total case count includes 13 confirmed cases among repatriated travellers.
There were 7,147 new cases Sunday. The rate of active cases is 220.35 per 100,000 people. Over the past seven days, there have been a total of 53,466 new cases. The seven-day rolling average of new cases is 7,638.

TORONTO - Ontario is reporting 3,436 new cases of COVID-19 today and 16 more deaths linked to the virus.

TORONTO - Ontario is reporting 3,436 new cases of COVID-19 today and 16 more deaths linked to the virus.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says there are 985 new cases in Toronto, 714 in Peel Region, and 351 in York Region.
She says there are also 271 new cases in Durham Region and 194 in Hamilton.
The Ministry of Health says 1,925 people are in hospital with COVID-19, but notes that more than 10 per cent of hospitals did not submit data to the province over the weekend.

In Canada, the provinces are reporting 288,327 new vaccinations administered for a total of 13,420,198 doses given. Nationwide, 1,099,573 people or 2.9 per cent of the population has been fully vaccinated. The provinces have administered doses at a rate of 35,410.169 per 100,000.
