Turkish Defence Minister Hulusi Akar visited the Command of the Special Forces of his country and in his statements once again blamed Greece for tensions in the Aegean, the Eastern Mediterranean and the Cyprus problem.
Akar said that while his country continues its fight “against terrorists” in Iraq and northern Syria, despite both countries telling Turkish troops to leave, it is fighting “day and night to protect the rights” of Turkey and Turkish-speaking Cypriots.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis sent a clear message from Libya during his meeting with his Libyan counterpart Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh.
The Greek Prime Minister emphasised after his meeting with Dbeibeh that relations between their two countries are determined “by geography and not by artificial lines.”

At the same time, he sent a message of support in Libya’s efforts to rebuild and have a new beginning.
“We look forward to a full recovery of our energy cooperation with Libya, but also of cooperation in fields such as tourism,” said the Greek Prime Minister.
“Our link in defense and security is traditional and we remind you that more than 280 Libyan officers have graduated from Greek Armed Forces schools,” he stressed.
The memorandum was with the aim of stealing Greece’s maritime sovereign rights.
The Muslim Brotherhood GNA was given a mandate to rule Libya, but it expired in December 2017.
The Libyan Parliament, based in the eastern city of Tobruk, has opposed the Turkish-backed Muslim Brotherhood GNA because of its illegitimacy after its mandate expired and for being a harbinger of terrorist activity in the country.
Fayez al-Saraj, the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood GNA and an ethnic Turk, signed a memorandum with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on the delimitation of maritime zones that traverses Greece’s sovereign rights.
