K-pop boy band and Grammy nominee BTS will be performing at the Recording Academy foundation’s virtual concert and fundraiser.
“We’re excited to announce that the GRAMMY-Nominated #BTS (@bts bighit) are joining our incredible lineup of #MusicOnAMission performers!” announced MusiCares Foundation.
The “Music on a Mission” virtual concert, an official Grammy Week event, will be held on March 12 or two days before the Grammy Awards ceremony on March 14.
According to the MusiCares, “the virtual event will honor the resilience of the music community, which has been deeply impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.”
The concert “will feature new performances by HAIM, H.E.R., Jhené Aiko, and John Legend as well as legendary performances from the MusiCares’ vaults featuring Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty, and Usher.”

K-pop band BTS is reaching new heights of success with every song release. Just when fans think that they have seen the best of the boy band, BTS comes up with a surprise and leave their BTS army excited. Their record-breaking song Dynamite has been on every fan s mind since its release. Remember the pastel-colored outfits that the Bangton boys wore in the song? Well, those were put out for Recording Academy s MusiCares Charity Relief Auction and has been sold for a whopping amount.
According to Julien s Auctions, the costumes have been sold for $162,500. It tweeted, SOLD for $162,500! The costumes were worn in the music video of the mega-hit song Dynamiteâ donated by GRAMMY Nominated BTS, all to benefit MusiCares in todayâs Charity Relief Auction.

This past Sunday, an outfit ensemble from the seven-piece K-pop group BTS sold for eight times its original estimated value, raking in $162,500.
The ensemble, featured in BTS’ music video for “Dynamite,” was sold as part of the MusiCares Charity Relief Auction, hosted by Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills in support of musicians, artists, and road crews affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The outfits were sold to two buyers, Japanese art collector Yusaku Maezawa and HIKAKIN, “Japan’s most famous YouTuber.”
