The Elephant Six Recording Co. with film producer Daniel Efram and musician Ben Crum of Great Lakes (band) The Elephant 6 Recording Co. was home to some of the most cutting edge indie rock of the nineties. The collective and label birthed bands like Neutral Milk Hotel, The Olivia Tremor Control, and The Apples in Stereo. This film embraces the genius experimental nature of the artists and chronicles the musical community of Athens, Georgia. With film producer Daniel Efram, and musician Ben Crum from Elephant Six recording artists Great Lakes, who will perform a short pre-film set.
Marc Black Band featuring Amy Fradon Marc has been inducted into the New York Chapter of the Blues Hall of Fame. He also is one of the very small group of musicians to have been awarded the ‘Key to Woodstock’ (just this year).
