Rhythm Ace Studio and Most Fm have collaborated to provide a free, five-day music course in Taranaki for 10 musicians.
Ten Taranaki musicians or budding music producers will get the chance to boost their skills in music production and technology thanks to a grant from the NZ Music Commission. The free, five-day course is a collaboration between Taranaki s independent radio station Most Fm and Oakura s Rhythm Ace Studios, where artists will learn to record quality demos at home, how to be productive in the studio and build confidence in a studio environment. In a joint statement, Sam Johnson of Rhythm Ace said there was a desire among a lot of musicians, especially singer songwriters, to learn more about the recording process and the course would help.
