Music industry gathers at State Capitol for Grammy Advocacy Louisiana
Musicians and those affiliated with the music industry in Louisiana will gather on Tuesday, June 1, at noon to partake in Louisiana Music Advocacy Day at the state capitol. Given music’s ongoing status as the lifeblood of Louisiana culture and tourism, members of the Louisiana Recording Academy have gathered to lobby for greater financial benefits and incentives for the crucial role music and musicians play in the state’s economy.
