And good morning. There will be some snow in areas today. Not everybody will see the flakes flying. And if you do see the snow, its going to be something to note. Not a lot in the way of accumulation. Starting out this morning, well, we are warmer than we were yesterday morning. 24 is the temperature right now in washington. Many locations already in the low 20s. When you factor in the winds, this is how it feels outside. It feels about 10 in washington, 16 in college park, and a cold 6 degrees right now in dulles. Overall right now, temperatures today will be warmer than they have been. This is the system im tracking. As it pushes over the mountains, a lot of the snow will fall apart. Restrictions are those so called assault weapons and the high capacity ammunition clips that feed bullets into them as well as handguns. Inside the gun center here in frederick racks that used to hold socalled assault style rifles like the bushmaster are empty because theyre sold out. Outside customers with strong feelings about gun rights are unnerved by talk of gun restrictions. Im going to stock up while i can. Reporter by Maryland Governor martin omalley. Our constitution gives us the right and unfortunately our governor of maryland doesnt understand infringement. Reporter the omalley plan calls for a state ban on assault weapons similar to the federal ban that expired in 2004, restricting the size of magazines to 10 bullets or less, prohibiting gun sales to people under 21. Additionally omalley proposes gun licensing with renewal every five years including fingerprinting and a mandatory gun safety class requirement.
