Muscat: Toilets at Oman Oil Marketing Company petrol stations will now require anyone using the facility to shell out 200 baisas (Dh2). The self-cleaning toilets made with high specifications include the latest advanced environmentally friendly technology.
As per a report carried by a leading and popular new site in Oman, the General Manager of Oman Oil’s Shared Services, Khamis bin Nasser Al Shuaibi, said these state-of-the-art toilets were built on an experimental phase at two petrol stations, namely, Saih Al Ahmar service station in Rusayl service station on the Muscat Expressway, and Al Khuwair 33 service station. The company intends to expand the number of such facilities in the coming stages.

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has urged people to use Sultan Qaboos Street till the time they deal with the aftermath of an accident involving a truck on the Muscat Expressway.
A statement issued online by ROP said, Currently, for users of the Muscat Expressway, a truck accident after Hayya Bridge heading outwards has led to heavy traffic congestion. Please use Sultan Qaboos Street until the accident is dealt with.
