“This one is a bad one,” Judge Murray Hinds observed of the museum offence. “There’s no other way of saying it.”
Defence lawyer Dave Armstrong said Bear experienced family struggles growing up and has suffered some mental health problems. Armstrong said his client has a drinking problem and issues with drugs most recently meth which led to the offence before the court.
Inside, another glass wall had been smashed out.
The vehicle reported stolen less than half an hour earlier sustained significant damage. Airbags on both sides had been deployed and a substantial amount of blood was found both inside and on the outside of the car.

The driver of a stolen vehicle whose night at the museum entailed smashing through the front doors, dashing through exhibits, and helping himself to food has been sentenced to prison.
