Especially violent night in the east bay. Police were called out to several shootings throughout oakland overnight. Kpix 5s cate caugiran is getting the latest from Oakland Police this morning. Cate. Reporter michelle, from what we understand, investigators are trying to figure out why these areas and if these areas were targeted overnight. Now, we know that several neighbors woke up around 10 20 last night to several gunshots. Oakland police say that two 17 yearold boys drove up to the intersection of 82 and and rudgear and shot at several homes and car in the area and several teens drove away by the time officers got there. Fortunately no one was injured in that shooting. However, as the two teens try to get away, their car hit another at church and bancroft near the eastmont towne centre.
