Eight Ford assembly plants will see production cut or suspended entirely this week as the automaker continues struggling to find the semiconductors it needs. It's not alone as Toyota is making cuts as well, reports TheDetroitBureau.com.
Volkswagen does not expect the global shortage of semiconductors to end this year although it should further ease slightly in the second half, a board member was quoted as saying by industry magazine Automobilwoche.
