Jean Kleyn in action against Leinster
Munster s Jean Kleyn has been suspended for two weeks after being cited for dangerous play in their Guinness Pro14 defeat to Leinster last weekend.
The South African-born second row was cited under the law governing dangerous play in a ruck or maul. A player must not make contact with an opponent above the line of the shoulders.
The 27-year-old Ireland international will miss just one match, Saturday s game against Treviso, as he will be eligible to play on 15 February, five days before Munster s trip to Edinburgh.
The citing officer concluded that an act of foul play had occurred. The incident was found to merit a mid-range entry point, which carries a four-week suspension.
