KUWAIT CITY, May 3: A fierce quarrel broke out between an Egyptian and a Sudanese resident, which resulted in the Sudanese losing 3 fingers of his hand who was rushed to the Farwaniya Hospital to get his fingers stitched to his hand. According to a security source, when the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a report on the incident police and paramedics rushed to Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh.
The men were reportedly fighting over differences between them and the Egyptian allegedly cut the fingers of the hands of the Sudanese with a cleaver. The Egyptian has been arrested and referred to the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station to face probable deportation from the country.

KUWAIT CITY, April 6: Two days after the death of two Kuwaitis in a painful accident on Al-Abdali Road, a Pakistani succumbed to his wounds at a hospital at the same spot and his vehicle overturned for an unknown reason, reports Al-Seyassah daily. According to a security source, the Ministry of Interior operations room received a report of the accident and the securitymen and paramedics rushed immediately to the spot and discovered the man had succumbed to his wounds. The man’s remains have been referred to Forensics. It is noteworthy to mention the Abdali Road during the past week witnessed several traffic accidents some of which resulted in deaths and one of the causes is the potholes on the road.

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 23: A state of confusion prevailed following the announcement of the air, sea and land borders closure to prevent the COVID-19 mutation spreading into the country, especially when it was reported that the Ministry of Health, had issued a decision to temporarily open the borders for one day only to allow those stranded in the ‘transit’ countries who had spent the 14-day quarantine period, to enter the country, clearly reflecting coordination between the various institutions.
The land border crossings also witnessed unprecedented congestion the day before yesterday, at the Saudi- Kuwaiti borders, as vehicles made a last minute attempt to beat the deadline at the Nuwaiseeb and Salmi border points prior to the closure.
Bag had rent collected by caretaker
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 14: KUWAIT CITY, Dec 14: The phone of the Egyptian teacher, identified as Tamer Mahrous, did not stop ringing after he published a video clip in the social media that he had found a bag containing money near the Egyptian consulate, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
In the clip he disclosed his phone number and said he had gone to the consulate to complete some official work and called on the rightful owner to collect the bag of money from him after identifying it.
Mahrous told the daily he received hundreds of calls and that bothered him because most of the calls were from false claimants. However, he went on to say, one of them, a compatriot caretaker of a building called and informed him of the exact amount that was in the bag, which he said the rent money he had collected from tenants. He added, the guard then visited him and took his money and thanked him.
