Abucay chief of police Maj. Dennis Bautista Duran ABUCAY, Bataan - A woman was killed after a landslide buried their house at the height of heavy rains here, according to the local police. Maj. Dennis Bautista Duran, Abucay police chief, identified the victim as Roselyn dela Cruz, 27, a caretaker of a resort in Abucay. Duran said rescuers found the body of Dela Cruz under the mud that also buried a car following the landslide that happened at 2 a.m. Saturday. The victim's father, who is residing in another house, called for help after he discovered the incident at around 7 a.m., he added. Siargao town mayor orders vaccination of boat captains, crew

BUTUAN CITY - Starting November 1, operators, captains, and crewmen of all water transport in Del Carmen town in Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte will have to present their vaccination cards to ensure the safety of those visiting local tourist spots.
