Apr 5, 2021 During his visit, the Deputy Commissioner directed the officers of Municipal Committee Shopian to sanitization the area within and around the Ziarat-i-Sharief as a preventive measure to Covid-19. He emphasized upon them to keep the basic amenities including portable water, uninterrupted electricity and other facilities available for devotees at the location so no inconvenience shall be faced by them. Meanwhile, he also directed the transport authorities for providing transport facilities to the people coming from different and far off places to observe Meraj Alam in the shrine.
