+ June 02, 2021 SEVENTY-SIX farmers in La Castellana town in Negros Occidental have been identified as potential beneficiaries of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (Carp) of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR).
Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officer Josephine Yap said the farmers signed an undertaking and took oath to signify that they have qualified to become Carp-beneficiaries.
The farmers signed their application to purchase and farmer s undertaking and took their oath before La Castellana Municipal Trial Court Judge Honorable Joseph Gedeoni Valencia on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.

+ May 28, 2021 THIRTY farmers in Himamaylan City took their oath before becoming agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (Carp) of the Department of Agrarian Reform on Wednesday, May 26.
Of the number, 22 are potential ARBs of the 5.97-hectare landholding formerly owned by Gregorio Saguinsin located in Barangay III Poblacion in the southern Negros Occidental locality.
Seven other potential ARBs are farmers of the 6.59-hectare agricultural land formerly owned by the Philippine National Bank situated in Barangay Carabalan.
May 10, 2021 THE Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in Negros Occidental-North has distributed a total of 38 hectares of land to farmer-beneficiaries in Manapla and Escalante City recently.
In Manapla, over 32 hectares were distributed to 68 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in a certificate of land ownership award (Cloa) distribution and installation rites on May 5.
Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officer Myrna Omaliao, who spoke at the activity, explained to the farmers their tax duties and other responsibilities as ARBs.
Omaliao urged farmer-beneficiaries to strive in cultivating their land in order to attain a bountiful harvest and economic stability, as she warned them not to engage in any illegal land transactions.
NAGA CITY (PIA) Marylyn L. Bono, 47 years old and a resident of Brgy. Kinahulogan, Lagonoy, Camarines Sur is one of the recipients of the Certificate of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) from the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR).
She received the title of ownership on April 16, on behalf of her deceased husband who dreamt of owning the land they tilled and nurtured for so long. She extended her gratitude to DAR for turning her husband’s dream into reality.
“This year, we are so blessed to receive this CLOA. Even though my husband is no longer alive, he has left us a piece of land that will greatly benefit our family, Marlyn emotionally narrated.
