SUNBURY A Northumberland County mother is no longer is facing an involuntary manslaughter charge over the death of her three-year-old son.
Judge Charles H. Saylor Thursday found there was insufficient evidence to support that charge against Britney Dawn Bridges, 23, of Turbotville.
The manslaughter charge accused Bridges of causing the Aug. 11 drowning death of Clayton-Lucas Eugene Hamilton, who was found floating face down in a neighbor’s above ground swimming pool.
That neighbor called 911 and began resuscitation efforts that were continued by emergency personnel en route to Muncy Valley Hospital in Muncy, where the toddler was pronounced dead.
