PENNSDALE – A female employee at Susquehanna Mills was being treated for rib and arm injuries she suffered Monday morning at the company on Village Road, emergency personnel confirmed. Using a ladder, the woman was reportedly going down to a basement area – a very confined space – about 8:15 a.m. when she fell or slipped off the ladder, Muncy Township Police Chief Christopher McKibben said he was told. The entrance to the area is very tight, he said. She became briefly confined to the area, but with the help of two firemen and another employee, she managed to crawl out of the area using the ladder, McKibben said.
