Messenger KUWAIT CITY, Feb 20: In the last 48 hours, Kuwait has raised the ceiling of precautionary measures due to the increase in COVID-19 infection and death rates. This has rendered the reinstatement of curfew to become almost certain, awaiting a decision to be issued during the Cabinet meeting scheduled for tomorrow. The Minister of Interior Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Essam Al-Naham held a meeting to discuss the preparations and measures that the Ministry of Interior would take in the event of a partial or total curfew. Lieutenant General Essam Al-Naham yesterday issued a circular to the ministry’s officials, asking them to prepare for implementing necessary measures in the event of a partial or total curfew in the coming days, and calling for increasing the readiness of all field sectors.
