Airport & Aviation Services Lanka (Pvt) Ltd Director Shehan Sumanasekara stated that the first flight carrying Ukraine passengers to Sri Lanka will reach the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport at 02:40 p.m. today (28).
The flight is a part of the pilot project which will operate on trial and error basis to judge the probability of welcoming back the travellers to the country.
The travellers arriving in Sri Lanka will be operated under strict travel bubble concept which lacks the interaction with the locals. The bubbles will operate in Bentota, Koggala and Beruwala.
The group will be subjected to PCR testing at the arrival before the transfer to the designated hotels, where they can enjoy the restricted beach areas.
