GREATER NOIDA: The Yotta Data Centre, which is being developed by Mumbai’s Hiranandani Group on 20 acres in Knowledge Park 5, may also store data related to air traffic and ground support of Noida international airport.
Sources said talks were underway with Zurich AG, the concessionaire appointed to develop the airport, regarding the storage of data. The data centre will be developed in two phases and of the total budget of Rs 6,700 crore, Rs 800-1,000 crore is likely to be used to develop the first phase. Once functional, the data centre is expected to generate job opportunities for 100-200 people.
